Naomi Cheng is the Corporate Controller at Hercules Capital. She joined Hercules in April 2025 and is based out of the San Mateo, CA office.

She brings over 15 years of Finance and Accounting experience primarily in venture equity, asset management, and technology. She is responsible for financial accounting, SEC reporting, valuations, and financial planning at Hercules. Prior to joining Hercules, Naomi was the Head of Fund Finance at Kleiner Perkins, Senior Director of Accounting & Controller at Norwest Venture Partners, and held various technical accounting and SEC reporting roles at Salesforce and Netflix. She began her career at Deloitte in San Francisco.

Naomi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
