Joshua Coleman is a Managing Director working out of the New York City office, with oversight over underwriting and portfolio management at Hercules.

He joined Hercules from the Capital Solutions team at Barings where he was responsible for originating, underwriting, and managing complex transactions across the capital structure. While at Barings, one area of focus for Joshua was the development of its Fund Finance business.

Prior to joining Barings, Joshua was a Principal at Medley Capital where he was responsible for the portfolio management and workout efforts across the firm.

He has served on several boards of directors and special committees, either as a representative or observer.

Joshua graduated summa cum laude from Canisius University, where he earned both a BA in mathematics with a concentration in statistics and a BA in economics with a concentration in finance.
