Ella-Tamar Adhanan is a Managing Director at Hercules Capital in New York, where she leads technology origination and business development. She brings close to eight years of experience in technology banking and venture capital, with deep relationships across the startup ecosystem and expertise in cross-border market dynamics.

Before joining Hercules, Ella spearheaded business development for Technology Banking and Investor Coverage at Silicon Valley Bank, focusing on the U.S.–Israel market. There, she partnered with high-growth, venture-backed startups, providing strategic financing solutions and guiding them through critical growth milestones. She also managed top-tier VC and private equity relationships in New York and led SVB’s international expansion across India and MENA.

Earlier, she worked as a sales analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York and served as Chief of Staff at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C.

Ella holds a B.A. in economics with a minor in mathematics and technological entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland. In 2025, she was named one of Globes’ 50 most influential women in business.
