Receptionist

Location:

Boston, MA

 

Job Summary:

The receptionist is responsible for managing incoming calls, greeting guests, ordering office supplies, general maintenance of the conference room and kitchen and various other projects, as assigned. The ideal candidate would possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a professional demeanor. Prompt and reliable attendance is essential in this position.


Job Duties and Essential Functions:

  • Incoming call management
  • Greet and assist guests
  • Conference room and meeting coordination, to include: scheduling, meeting setup and breakdown
  • Catering, to include: managing meeting calendar to ensure all meals are ordered and delivered on time
  • Mail management, including: FedEx preparation, mail sorting and fax distribution
  • Order and stock office and kitchen supplies
  • Database maintenance
  • Various administrative functions
  • Assist managing director team with various projects

Requirements:

  • One to three years receptionist experience, preferable in the finance industry
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
