Managing Directors play critical roles in the investment process at Hercules. Managing Directors are responsible for sourcing new deals, delivering written and oral analyses of investment opportunities, negotiating and structuring the investment, participating in the due diligence process, overseeing our team of Analysts and Associates during the preparation of diligence materials and financial models, and closely tracking industry trends.

To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate a high level of achievement in regards to: deal origination, deals closed, realized investments, and maintaining and cultivating a robust network of contacts. Ideal candidates have ten-plus years of prior work experience (with a technology or life sciences industry focus) in investment banking, venture captial, private equity or leveraged finance.
